COVID-19: GUIDELINES
Acupuncture re-opening guidelines for clients
Please read re-opening guidelines below:
-
All clients must complete the screening questionnaire for Covid-19 symptoms prior to each appointment.
-
All existing and new clients must review and sign a new consent form prior to treatment.
-
Clients must remain in vehicle until contacted to come in. Waiting area is closed.
-
Clients must enter clinic by themselves unless indicated they need a companion. The client then must indicate this prior to treatment and their companion must follow all protocols listed.
-
Clients are required to wear a mask covering nose and mouth before entering clinic. Medical 2/3 ply masks or handmade masks are acceptable. Masks can be provided if necessary.
-
I will meet you at the door where screening for Covid-19 will be done.
-
Clients must wash their hands for 30 seconds with soap and water or use approved hand sanitizer during the following:
-
Immediately when entering clinic
-
Prior to processing payment
-
Before leaving the clinic
-
-
Clients will then proceed directly to treatment room.
-
All payments will be contactless. Electronic payments are encouraged. All invoices will be electronic.
-
I have decided to go down to 1 treatment room for the safety of my clients, but this means space will be limited. Please respect appointment times.
-
There will be 30 mins between each client to ensure time for proper disinfecting and physical distancing.
-
I will be wearing the required medical mask, and a washable garment. Gloves will be worn if suggested by the client and when touching any bodily fluids. All items will be discarded/cleaned as directed by the NLCHP, CTCMPANL and the Government of Newfoundland.
-
All areas of the treatment room, shared areas, instruments and equipment will be sanitized between clients.
Looking forward to seeing you!
